First Church Camps

All children and youth from the area are invited to experience any of our traditional summer camps. Scholarships are available for students of church members upon request and approval. More information will become available as the times for the camps approach.

Chess Camp - July 12-16, 2010

A fun and inspiring introduction or improvement to the game of chess! There will be a week of learning, chess-themed crafts and field trips, live action chess and a concluding chess tournament. Snacks will be provided, but each participant must bring a bag lunch each day.

The camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm. Anyone going into 1st - 6th grades (and under 1,000 rated) is invited. The cost is $100 with a $10 discount for an additional child. (Before and after care is available for an additional fee.)
