“Virtual” Summer Sunday School

Welcome to The Gospel According to Starbucks, our “virtual Sunday School.” It is designed to provide you with a regular cup of spiritual caffeine, whether you come into the church or not. Through his book by this name (available at bookstores and on-line), Leonard Sweet, caffeine connosieur and renowned author, is our “cultural barista,” using Starbucks to guide us into insights in how to passionately live an EPIC faith.

We will be blogging our way through The Gospel According to Starbucks across the summer, and invite you along for the ride. Of course we'd love to have you visit with us for the face-to-face version of the discussion over coffee, Sunday mornings at 9:30, upstairs at First Church, Cuyahoga Falls. Whether face to face, on-line or both, we're also asking for some input on questions each week that with go along with our exploration of a EPIC faith.

Sweet's ruminations over Starbucks have helped to brew an understanding of a passionate life in the Spirit as one that is Experiential, Participatory, Image-rich, and Connectional (EPIC).
