Adults in Relational Ministry (ARMs)
There is nothng that happens in our ministry to middle and high school students that does not rely on volunteers. To say volunteers are essential to our ministry is an understatement. From small group leaders to logistics to everything in between, there is a place for you to take an active role in our youth ministry. Please look at the job descriptions and lists below of all the particular areas. (The opportunity descriptions and forms are also available to download on the right.) Opportunity Descriptions
Senior High Epworth Youth ARM: We need adults who are willing to be prsnet each week in our Sunday Evening Youth Time, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, to help us make sure every youth is welcomed when they enter, engaged in what we're doing, and participating in our activities. This includes facilitating small group discussions, leading games, taking attendance, and welcoming visitors.
Middle School Epworth Youth ARM: We need adults who are willing to be prsnet each week in our Sunday Evening Youth Time, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, to help us make sure every youth is welcomed when they enter, engaged in what we're doing, and participating in our activities. This includes facilitating small group discussions, leading games, taking attendance, and welcoming visitors.
Senior High Small Group Leader: We need adults who are willing to meet each week during the school year with 6-10 youth to help us make sure all our youth are known, loved, cared for, prayed for, supported, and held accountable. Curriculum and training are provided.
Middle School High Small Group Leader: We need adults who are willing to meet each week during the school year with 6-10 youth to help us make sure all our youth are known, loved, cared for, prayed for, supported, and held accountable. Curriculum and training are provided.
Bible Study Teacher: We need adults to teach Bible studies on various books and topics on Wednesday evenings during the R.O.C.K.
Audio-Visual Team Leader: We need adults to lead teams of youth to create, produce, and run sound equipment, videos, and multimedia presentations for our Sunday morning youth activities on a weekly basis.
5th Quarter Leaders: We need volunteers to be responsible for the developing and leading of games and activities of 5th Quarter, an after sports event game and fun night held here at the church. The hours of these events will be 9:30-11:30 pm on Friday or Saturday night.
5th Quarter ARMs: We need volunteers to assist with hospitality, welcoming, games and to chaperone youth during 5th Quarter events. The hours of these events will be 9:30-11:30 pm on Friday or Saturday night.
Snack Supper ARMs: We need volunteers to help us set up, serve, and clean up after our Sunday night snack suppers. Snack supper is held between choir and youth group.
Website Updating and Design: We need technologically minded volunteers to help us with the upkeep of our youth website by entering data, changing our format from time to time, and helping us continue to communicate about our ministry to our students, their parents, and the community.
Retreat and Tour ARMs: We need adults to chaperone our many overnight youth trips and retreats.
Shoppers: We need adults to help us by shopping for supplies for our programs from Costco, Kroger, Wal-Mart, or some similar place. We provide the money, you provide the shopping.
Attendance and Visitor Follow-Up: we need office volunteers on Mondays to help us input attendance and follow up with visitors form our weekend youth activities.
Prayer Team: We need adults to gather and pray for our youth on Sunday evenings during our lsmall groups land youth choirs.
Ministry Team Leaders: We need adults to mentor youth who have signed up to lead one of our ministry teams. These include, but are not limited to, the café team, retreat team, encouragement team, prayer team, missions team, welcoming team, drama team, and video team.
