Clothes for Kids

As a response to the need for Haitian relief, First Church will be making clothing for the children of Haiti. On Thursday, March 4, from 9 am to 2 pm, we will be cutting out fabric to be made into shorts and tops. Then on Thursday, March 18, again from 9 am to 2 pm, we will sew the clothing. Anyone is welcome to help on either or both days. Kits will available for those who would prefer to work at home. Those would need to be returned to the church by Sunday, March 7. If you have any fabric you can donate, you may bring it to the church or call 330-923-5241.

Requiem by Maurice Duruflé

The Arts Series presents First Church's Chancel Choir combining with Westlake UMC's Chancel Choir to perform Durufle's elegant masterpiece Requiem. The choirs will be under the direction of Andy Call, with Dean Wagner, organist and orchestra. Join us for a spiritually uplifting experience. A free will offering will be taken and child care is available.

CHURCH BRUNCH

On the second Sunday of each month, the church offers a delicious brunch between the hours of 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM in Wesley Hall.  A variety of breakfast and lunch dishes are offered including the always popular omelet station, pastries and beverages.  The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under, and those 2 and under are free.  

The dates for the brunch are:  March, 14, April 11, and May 9.
