Vacation Bible School!
June 24-28, 2013
9 am - noon

At this exciting, kid-friendly global fair, your children will experience the love of Jesus, meet welcoming neighbors from the Bible, and explore the everyday life of neighbors from Japan, Zimbabwe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Mexico. Kids will learn that God’s love welcomes everyone, as they understand how to love and serve God and be a neighbor to the world.

Our VBS has three different programs:

VBS - Children age 3 (by September 30, 2013 and potty trained) through those entering 4th grade. They will enjoy art projects, music, science activities, recreational activities and snacks.

VBS Serve - Children entering 5th or 6th grade. Their week will be filled with fun, field trips and mission outreach.

VBS Extreme - An additional afternoon program for those entering 1st through 6th grades.  Children must be registered in the morning programs to take advantage of this and space IS limited.

Registration Fees

VBS and VBS Serve: $5 per child with a $10 family maximum.
VBS Extreme: $50 for the 1st child and $45 for each additional child. (This is in addition to the VBS fee.)

How do I register?
Two (maybe three) easy steps.

1. Registration - click on the Everywhere Fun Fair logo.
 
2. Fees - Send your fees to the church using the Payment Form.

3. Emergency Medical Form - required for those attending the VBS Serve and VBS Extreme programs.

This year's VBS focuses on loving our neighbors, so what better way to get to know our neighbors than at a party! There will be carnival games such as a cake walk and ring toss, inflatables, all the favorite carnival foods including hot dogs, cotton candy and popcorn, a prayer wall, prizes and so much more. Bring friends and family for this evening of fun!

Missions Fundraiser
at Bob Evans

The Missions Ministry will again hold a fundraising event at Bob Evans Restaurant, 3489 Hudson Drive, on Monday July 8. Grab a flyer from the Welcome Center or church office and take it at any time from 9 am to 11 pm and the church will receive 15% of the bill. The proceeds will benefit Family Promise. What a delicious way to support the missions of First Church.

Join us as these talented young people from all around the world, who have come to the Kent State University to study, KSU faculty and members of the Cleveland Orchestra, perform a variety of solos and chamber music which will feature our new Steinway piano purchased this year. KSU is excited to partner with our church to bring this program to us.
