Tongues of flame, speaking in languages they shouldn't know, Peter's bold sermon and 3,000 converts in one day. The day of Pentecost was fire!
Interesting, then, that after all that activity, the day ends with quiet devotion and a shared meal. They committed themselves to the apostles' teaching. They shared with one another. They prayed and worshipped.
Join us for worship this Sunday at 9:30 (the start of our summer service schedule) this Sunday for Pentecost worship and bring a geranium to plant around the church! We'll be digging in to what God was about with this very full and peculiar day.
